Eden. (2024) Is a 2 channel video installation with sculpture and lighting elements. The work explores cookie/data collection through a collage of video performances. Rather than instructing the gaze of the viewer through the scene, each character captures attention through sound, and physical expression. The work aims to highlight some of the deceptively ambiguous methods of extraction in a digital age, whilst playfully articulating, through costume, movement and cookie circulation, the bored complicities of each of the characters. The work has been shown on Sherkin Island, The Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre and the RHA Dublin.
